What services does ServiceMaster offer?

What type of customers & businesses do we look after?

  • Takeaways & Restaurants

Do you clean private houses?

No we don’t. However, Merry Maids Manchester part of the ServiceMaster group can be contacted on 0161 864 4480.

Is there a minimum cleaning requirement?

Yes. Our contracts are based on a minimum of 1 cleaner, 1 hour a day, 5 days per week.  Will also do a 7 day a week service if required.

Typically our customers employ 15 or more staff.

What are your charges?

Every quote we give is a match to your specific cleaning requirements.

Do you offer free surveys?

Yes. Every survey is totally free of charge.

Will I need to supply any equipment or cleaning materials?

No. You don’t need to supply a thing.

We provide everything that’s needed. From dusters and detergents to our unique Capture And Removal technology to Vacuum Cleaners, Buffing Machines, Dust Wands, Microfibre cloths and mops the lot!

Are your services fully insured?

Yes. We provide complete peace of mind by fully insuring our staff and services.

Which accreditations do you have?

How long will I need to sign a contract for?

We have no minimum contract period and no lock-ins. You can cancel at any time and for any reason.

What Background checks do you carry out on your staff?

We ensure that we carry out all necessary background checks on our staff including, if required, full DBS checks. This means that anyone coming on site is approved and able to work with children, the elderly and people who might otherwise be classed as vulnerable.

What training do your staff receive?

All our staff are fully trained. This includes all aspects of site specific Health and Safety, cleaning methods and site cleaning specification. In addition we offer NVQ training and other related courses including:

  • Lone Working for Managers
  • An Introduction to Risk Management COSHH  Slips, trips and falls,
  • Working at height
  • Manual handling for managers
  • Asbestos awareness
  • Emergency & fire awareness
  • Recruitment & Training

Existing staff and TUPE transfer what do I need to know?

All TUPE transfers are handled by our team of experienced managers and overseen by our Director in consultation with our employment law partner Croner, experts in employee and employer legislation.

Timely, discreet and constructive, consultation meetings are carried out up to four weeks prior to the new contract start date. Serving employees are informed of their options and the whole process, undertaken by our senior management team, is conducted with complete professionalism and fairness.

How do you manage the smooth change of provider?

Our on-boarding programme is clean, clear and designed to make the taking over of your contract as smooth as possible. We have vast experience and expertise in delivering seamless and efficient changeovers.
