A local primary school within the Trafford area required a deep clean of their hard floors
The floor was well-used and very dirty so in preparation for the new term they wanted ServiceMaster to give the floor a new lease of life
The school required the floors to be cleaned outside of term time to prevent disruption to the school
How We Helped
Following the initial enquiry, we visited on 04/07/2022 and provided a full detailed quotation the following day. The quote was accepted same day and the work was booked in with the client for 22/07/2022 (after the end of the school term).
Our Technical Services Manager, Keith Lowe undertook the hard floor cleaning, he has over 25 years of experience within the cleaning industry.
To clean the floors, he used an ammonia-based stripped and hot water, he pre-soaked the floors with the stripper using a Kentucky mop and bucket.
He then scarifies the floor with a black pad on a rotary scrubber ensuring to reach all the corners.
The wet vac is then used to extract any remaining water and residue.
The surface is then mopped again with clean water and floor cleaner using a Kentucky mop paying extra attention to the corners and skirting boards.
The Benefit
The floor was cleaned at a time and date most suitable for the school (out of term time) to prevent any disruption to the school.
The floor is clean and hygienic ready for the school to return at the start of the new term.
The floor will last for longer when maintained on a regular basis, saving money in the long run.
