With DBS Enhanced checked staff, a solid commitment to Health & Safety and a significant year on year investment into training, ServiceMaster Manchester take the health, safety and wellbeing of our staff very seriously. That's why we're accredited with ISO 45001 and are SafeContractor approved. Furthermore we also have ISO 9001 for our Quality Management System and ISO 14001 for our Environmental Management System.
We are a Recognised Service Provider proudly working with the Living Wage Foundation to promote the real Living Wage. We believe in paying a decent wage to our staff, who carry out vital work for many organisations, and therefore always provide a Living Wage costed bid to all our clients. This gives them the chance to decide if the Living Wage is right for their organisation. We also pay the Living Wage to all staff in our head office and core functions.
Using 'EziTracker'™ time and attendance software, we are able to record the start and finish times of all of our staff working on your premises to ensure that the hours worked on site are in line with our contractual obligations. Regular site visits and audits by our network of locally based Area Managers also mean that we are constantly checking on the quality of works undertaken and the welfare of our staff.
The size and scale of our operation means that we have the staffing resources to quickly cover any short term absence or sickness, thus providing you with continuity of service. A team of mobile cleaners are also on hand to provide a rapid response in the event of any emergency or unforeseen requirements.

Whilst having a solid and robust management structure is instrumental in providing leadership, support and corporate structure, we would of course not be able to deliver a top class service without the people that really count – our team of over 250 cleaners, supervisors and mobile technicians.
With some of our current front line staff having been with the business for over a decade, this is testament to ServiceMaster Manchester being a good place to work, a company that looks after it’s staff and an employer that rewards those who go above and beyond.
In recognition of this, the company has an Employee of the Quarter scheme. Meet some of the latest winners below.
